Governance

At the Mosaic Partnership Trust, we are committed to strong, transparent and ethical governance that ensures our schools provide the very best education for every child.

Our governance structure is designed to promote integrity, accountability and local engagement. It brings together Members, Trustees, and Academy Community Councils (ACCs), each with clear roles and responsibilities as set out in our Governance Framework and Scheme of Delegation.

Our Governance Structure

  • Members are the guardians of the Trust’s governance, ensuring its charitable purpose is fulfilled and appointing Trustees to the Board.
  • The Board of Trustees holds overall accountability for the Trust’s strategic direction, educational performance, and financial integrity.
  • The Board delegates specific responsibilities to its sub-committees, which oversee areas such as Audit & Risk, Quality of Education, and Finance & Resources.

Academy Community Councils (ACCs) play an important role with a strategic focus on the quality of educational provision and inclusion assessing the impact of this on pupil outcomes. They also provide insight from a local community perspective.
